PrivacyPolicy

Privacy isn't a policy bolted onto Verilay; it's the architecture. This page explains what we do and don't collect.

Last updated: June 29, 2026

This is a placeholder policyprovided as a starting point and should be reviewed by legal counsel before launch. It describes Verilay's intended data practices.

Our approach

Verilay is a zero-knowledge credential network. By design, businesses using Verilay receive a verifiable yes/no result, never the underlying identity documents. Raw personal data stays encrypted on the user's device and is never copied into business databases.

Information we collect

  • Marketing site: basic, privacy-respecting analytics (aggregate page views) and any details you voluntarily submit through the contact form.
  • Protocol: cryptographic proofs and verification metadata required to operate the network, never the source documents.

How we use information

To respond to enquiries, operate and secure the service, and improve the product. We do not sell personal data.

Data retention & your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of the information you've shared with us. Account deletion invalidates the associated proofs and references.
